Week 18: The Submission

In this final week of the semester, I have done the report hardcover, all the document that needed to submitting online and ready to submit. Alhamdulillah, all praises to Allah S.W.T because on His blessing and His permission will allows me for completing this final year project thesis.

Week 17: Template correction

Before proceeding on hardcover, the report need to follow the template that being upload by FYP cordinator such as margin and spacing. For the hardcover, the total cost is RM53.70. The submission for the hardcover have been extended to week 18 on 19 June 2019.

Week 16: Technical paper

After finished my FYP report, all FYP2 need to do their technical paper. Technical paper is basically a summary of all the work that have been done. Then, will proceed by doing hardcover for my fyp 2 as well as online submitting that include the report, poster, presentation picture,video and the program for the project.

Week 15: Last chapter

On the last chapter, which is chapter 5 is conclusion for the project. This chapter is attached with some recommendation that can be used by future developers as a starting point in echancing the system design f the project. Here are the suggestion for the future development:

I) Wi-Fi

    Nowadays, researcher closely studied every wireless door lock on the market and thoughtfully tested most of them. And frackly, we love using our phones or mere presence (via an app) to completely eliminate keys altogether, A Wi-Fi door locks technology can even aloow user to grant time or permanent access to guests on your phone. This third-generation smart lock offers all the bells and whistles owner can get. With this technology, owner can access and monitor their home anywhere as long as there is a network connection.

II) Voice command technology

    Voice command technology such as Apple Home Kit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home is the three major voice control platforms. With the combination of voice command and door lock, user can have access all their home with voice-activated personal assistant such as Siri, Alexa, Google’s Assistant and Cortana. With the convenience voice commands such as Alexa, user can unlock their door from pretty much everywhere since Alexa devices don’t have to be on the same network as the smart devices’ user want to control.

Week 14: Chapter 3 & 4

On this week, I"ll be focus on chapter 3 and chapter 4 for my report.

Chapter 3 consists of the methodology which will explain the process of the project ad work flow during completing the project

Meanwhile on chapter 4

Week 13: Chapter 1 & 2

On this week, I only focus on my thesis to complete the chapter 1 and chapter 2.

Chapter 1 consist of the introduction of the project and followed by a few sub topic such as:
-Background of the project
-Problem Statement
-Objectives of the project
-Significance of the project
-Scopes and limitations of the project
-Chapter summary

Chapter 2 consists of all the subropic form the article that related to the project such as:
-Introduction
-History
-The problem of burglary of single-family houses
-Literature review (4 subtopic)
-Component comparisons
-Chapter summary

Week 12: FYP report

On this week, i"ll be focus completing my FYP report for submission on week 17 (14/6/2019). I"ll be gathering much more information that will be needed fort he report as well as review back my FYP1 report for any msitake that need to be corrected.
