Week 3: Changing Project Title

On 25 February, I've decided to change my project. The concept is remained the same, the changes made is the project will be added a gsm900 and rfid. This new project's title is Door Lock Security System with Arduino and GSM.

The main component

1. Arduino Uno
2. I2C LCD
3. MFRC522 RFID
4. SIM900 GSM module
5. Keypad
6. Buzzer

The working system

• The system send an alert when scanning the wrong tag/entered the wrong password.
• System will send us a confirmation message that the door has opened when scanning the right tag and on entering the right password.
• You can also open the door by sending message to Arduino.

Week 2: Fyp 2 Briefing/ Project Recap

Assalamualaikum

On 13/2/2019, all FYP 2 candidates have to attend the briefing located at TTL2. The briefing was intended to explain about the FYP calender where the students need to keep update on their project development, progress report and frequently meet supervisor.

A quick recap of my project. My project is to develop a security system with 8051 with a keypad. However, there is some minor changing to the project. Im going to replace the 8051 to arduino and adding a esp8266 to the project. The reason is because to add the esp8266 to the project and to utilise the iot concept project. The working concept of the project is when user entered the password through the keypad, the door will open and the notification will be sending to the user mobile.
